Aleksandra Georgieva signs for Hibernians

Hibernians F.C. are pleased to announce that 28 year old attacking midfielder Aleksandra Georgieva has signed for the club.

The Bulgarian midfielder started her career in her own country where she played for Sandanc F.C. and Botev Vraca F.C. at a young age.

Her first experience in Malta was with Swieqi United, where she spent 4 years, before joining Kirkop United two years ago. Last season, she played a total of 18 matches and scored 5 goals in all competitions for Kirkop United.

Sarah Urpani is Black & White

Hibernians F.C. are pleased to announce that 22 year old forward Sarah Urpani has signed for the club.

 

The young forward, played for Birkirkara F.C., where she made 67 appearances and scored 15 goals in 5 seasons with the Stripes. In the last two and a half years, she was on the books of Kirkop United.

 

She also made 15 appearances at Youth level for the Women Maltese National Team, scoring 1 goal.

Maltese International defender Kurt Shaw is a new Hibernians player

We are delighted to announce the signing of 23 year old Maltese International defender, Kurt Shaw.

 

The young defender started his career at Sliema Wanderers F.C., and he debuted in the BOV Premier League in Season 2016/17. For the Blues, Kurt made 100 appearances in all competitions, scoring 8 goals.

 

Shaw made his international debut for Malta on the 12th October 2019 in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying match against Sweden. Since then, he made a total of 18 appearances for the National Team.

Yolande Attard joins Hibernians

Hibernians F.C. are pleased to announce that 28 year old winger Yolande Attard has signed for the club.

 

Yolande started her career at Swieqi United, where she spent 5 years and also captained her team in her final season. During her time with Swieqi, Yolande also spent 6 months on loan with Hibernians.

 

In 2019, she made a move to Mġarr United, where she spent 2 seasons, before joining Kirkop United last year. In her career Yolande played a total of 113 matches and scored 38 goals. She also formed part of the Maltese Women National Team where she made 4 appearances and scored 1 goal during an international friendly.

Alessia Caschetto signs for Hibernians

Hibernians F.C. are pleased to announce that 25 year old midfielder Alessia Caschetto has signed for the club.

 

Alessia spent her whole career playing for Kirkop United, and last season she made 15 appearances for the club. She also represented the Maltese Women National Team at Under 17 and Under 19 level.

Mirea Ellul is back in Black & White

Hibernians F.C. are pleased to announce that 21 year old winger Mirea Ellul has signed for the club.

 

Mirea debuted with our club back in Season 2012/13 where she played 51 matches and scored 2 goals for the Under 19 team. During her time in Black and White, she also made 2 Senior appearances.

 

In 2017, she joined Tarxien Rainbows where she played for their Under 19 team, before joining Kirkop United a year later, making 39 appearances and scoring 3 goals in 3 seasons in the red and white colours.

Emma Zammit joins Hibernians

Hibernians F.C. are pleased to announce that 34 year old defender Emma Zammit has signed for the club.

 

The experienced central defender, spent the majority of her career playing for Swieqi United, where she was also captain of the team. In 2019, she joined Mġarr United, where she spent two seasons, before joining Kirkop United in Season 2021/22, playing 13 matches in the Women’s League First Division.

Ingrid Psaila is Black & White

Hibernians F.C. are pleased to announce that 20 year old defender Ingrid Psaila has signed for the club.

 

The young defender, last season made 16 appearances in the Women’s League for Kirkop United.
