Hibs held by Kirkop United

Hibs title hopes where frustrated when they were held to a goalless draw by Kirkop United.

 

Hibs started brightly with plenty of possession and flowing football but just lacked the finishing touch. The first half finished goalless.

 

Captain Dorianne Theuma had a chance to put Hibs in front when they were awarded a penalty but she hit high over the bar. Chances were few and far between for either side. Hibernians had most of the possession but nothing to show for it. The closest they came to scoring was in the last minute when Dorianne Theuma hit the crossbar.

 

A single point for Hibernians who now trail leaders Birkirkara by 2 points.
