Spanish left full back Gabriel Izquier Artiles spoke with HFC Media on Saturday’s rival clash against Valletta F.C. after two consecutive victories against Sliema Wanderers F.C. in the BOV Premier League last weekend and the midweek FA Trophy win against Nadur Youngsters F.C.
The Spanish full back was asked whether the team can continue its positive run.
“Of course we will. The team is working very well and the new signings will also help us,” Gabri told HFC Media.
“I am sure we will show our best version during this final stretch of the season,” he continued.
This Saturday, we come face to face against our rivals Valletta, who currently lie in the 7th place of the BOV Premier League. In the first round we shared the spoils with the Citizens in a 1-1 draw.
“Valletta are always a dangerous team. They have good attacking players and we have to be focused for the whole game,” the Spanish defender said.
“We are preparing ourselves by working hard, knowing that the key part of the league is coming.”
Gabri also sends his message to our fans to continue supporting the team throughout the final part of the season.
